Last week I hung out with two of my friends and we walked the dam and did a little shopping and then I went to dinner with my mom and bought my plane ticket to Portland and had no homework so that day was just really solid.

Here comes the stereotypical blog post where I actually update you on my life:
I bought my plane ticket to Oregon last night. I leave in exactly three weeks! School is wrapping up and I have straight A’s for the semester. I’m beginning to really get my heart set on a certain college with the perfect major and I’m really excited about the future. Tonight I went to a women’s ministry event at my church where we talked about sex trafficking and ate lots of pasta. I also just won a pair of brand new Chacos off eBay for over half price. Shout out to my dad for staying up and bidding on them even though he’s in Georgia. My grandfather was admitted to Hospice a few mornings ago. His kidneys are working about 30% of the time, his heart is failing and struggling to get blood to his brain, and he is beginning to develop Parkinson’s and is shaking badly. My dad has been down there since Wednesday. Tomorrow I have work, then I’m going to swim with Jakob, tutor a friend in some geometry, then get dinner at Chipotle with meh ladies. Sunday I work a double and have to study for an English test (side note: The Count of Monte Cristo is a beautiful book). Overall, my sophomore year is wrapping up wonderfully :)
